My Students

Hello, I'm a third grade teacher! My students currently do not have access to technology, except for one student desktop computer and a computer lab that we visit once every other week. Technology is important in our world today, and it is also engaging for students.

At my school, we have an amazing bunch of students!

Like most children, our students love having hands-on experiences with technology. There are many things that my students cannot do, because they do not have access to their own tablet or laptop. Technology teaches students independent thinking skills. There are many times that I have wanted my students to be able to do digital projects and research, but we are very limited to what we can do. There are some students who probably do not have access to any technology besides the technology that they use at school. I want all of my students to be able to have access to technology.

My Project

Once this project is funded, I will finally have 30 HP Google chromebooks, allowing every one of my students to have access to a computer daily, and giving them the opportunity to work on apps that will help build their reading. They will also have time to do research on a project continuously as they continue working on their projects instead of just an hour prior to beginning their project. Students will have access to type all of their pieces helping them get ready for a world that is fully based on technology and using it efficiently and fluently. Thank you for your help.
