Goodies for Goalies! SAHS Girls Soccer Team Needs Training Equipment!
My students need Adidas training and game soccer balls, Adidas goal keeper jerseys, Fox 40 whistles, agility ladders, cones, Wilson tennis balls, an Under armor ball pump, and agility rings for our high school soccer team!
The athletes at my school are incredible. They love everything about soccer and want to continue enhancing their abilities. My girls' soccer team is so dedicated to our team.
Our girl's soccer team spends the entire summer training and coming together as a team to prepare for our season in the fall.
My players have had a rough few years. In the last 5 years, they have had 4 new head coaches. My hope is to bring this team together and start building the trust of the community again by being a head coach that my girls can rely on. I want to be able to give these dedicated girls the equipment they need to succeed on and off the field.
My Project
I am a new head coach this year and I would love to be able to provide my soccer team with the best equipment possible. Soccer is so much more than just kicking a ball around. My team can use the agility rings and agility ladders to strengthen their ankles and learn to have quick and quiet feet on the field. I can use the cone to help my players practice dribbling through cones and changing the direction of their bodies very quickly. I will use the tennis balls, cones, and other agility equipment to help train my goal keepers. I can work with them on their quick reflexes by training with the small tennis balls before moving onto regulation sized balls. I can also have my goal keepers wear the jerseys I have requested so that they can protect their elbows and upper body while training.
With this training equipment, I will be able to help my students train all the muscles in their body and become more than just soccer players; I can help them become lifelong athletes.
