Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are the sweetest, kind, adorable and most wonderful 6 year olds in the world. I am honored to be their teacher. They are so eager and willing to learn and grow as first graders going into second grade. Many of our students come from families with limited means, but with unlimited dreams and energy.
My students right now are not in my classroom.
They are at home. All of our my interactions with my students, all of my direct teaching is being done on line. I would love to give them some hands on tools to work on while they are at home.
My Project
I would love to deliver a goodie bag full of amazing learning supplies to each of my students. If this project is funded, I would give all my students books to read. Unfortunately not all of my students have books to read so that would be incredible to deliver some books. I would give all my students supplies to help with the daily activities such as pencils and crayons. I would love to give them a first grade workbook to help with their studies. I would really like to add a few fun items such as puzzles and Play-Doh to add some hands-on fun to their daily lives.
