Help me give my students goodie bags! I will be filling these bags with hygiene items (travel size deodorant, body wash, chap stick, antibacterial hand soap). My most expensive items are the antibacterial hand soap (high commodity).

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My past 2 years as a teacher have been most rewarding. Besides providing valuable instruction and mentorship, I continuously aspire to link students to valuable resources. My students' physical, mental, and spiritual health is very important to me.

COVID-19 has motivated me to revamp my curriculum as well as reward my students for their efforts & perseverance!

I have Pre-Law/Leadership class comprised of 30 amazing students. These students have continuously set the bar at our high school in regards to exemplifying exceptional behavior, attendance, and grades.

My Project

I asked my students what are some items they'd like included in a care-package.

While I will be providing online instruction and materials, it would be amazing to reward them for all their hard work, perseverance, and patience displayed throughout the year and especially during this time.

GOODIE BAGS!

I will be purchasing additional hygiene items (feminine pads) and some snacks to include in the bags as well. Contact will be made weekly via email. I aspire to have these goodie bags ready for pickup (at our school) by the end of May/early-June. I could use ALL the help I can get! You're greatly appreciated
