My Students
Eager to learn is one way to describe my Kindergarten class. The children are hungry for learning and school experiences. Our school is Title 1 so I want to offer everything I possibly can to help these children grow as learners. fueling their drive to learn more as they progress through elementary.
They want to know about the world and the world needs them to learn as much as they can.
Your help is needed. I love how eager these children are about their learning adventure. They can be compared to sponges. After 5 weeks of school we are on our way to success!
My Project
My kinder students will hear what good reading sounds like as they follow along with story books in a listening center. This would be another way for children to practice and get some assistance in their reading practice. These days at home families are so busy that they do not always put good reading practice first so I need students to hear as many different readers as possible so they can find their comfort with their own reading skills.
This will help them be responsible for their own learning and ownership of their personal success in reading.
