My students need good quality tuba mouthpieces! Many of our tuba mouthpiece are old, chipped, and not even the right size for our tuba players. Having new mouthpieces will help them make wonderful sounds!

My Students

My students are hardworking, creative, and musical! Despite some disadvantages they come in every day eager to learn and play music. We have a blend of many different cultures in our school which is perfect as we learn about music from around the world.

Our students are visual and active learners who are always wanting to get INVOLVED in their learning.

In our band classroom we are always focusing on not only person growth, but also supporting each other to do our best. We teach not just music, but also leadership and life skills. Our students are always wanting to give back to the band program after they go to high school to help the younger students.

My Project

These materials will make a difference right away for our young tuba players! The mouthpieces that they are using with their tubas are old, chipped, and not the right size for our advancing students.

The Helleburg tuba mouthpieces will help them to produce louder and fuller sounds to support the entire band!

The tubas are the foundation of our band sound, so they are the most important!

The mouthpiece is where the magic happens for all of our wind instruments. For tubas, a good quality mouthpiece means that they can easily buzz and blow air through the tuba. Can you imagine a car with a square steering wheel? That's what its like to play tuba with a bad mouthpiece!
