My Students

I have many students who come from difficult circumstances. School is the only chance they get for reading diverse literature and interacting with caring adults in a safe environment. It is important for them to see how the stories of others can relate to their own lives. Many of them need to know they are not alone and how to deal with their struggles.

My students are fun-loving kids who are always looking for adventure.

I want to give them adventures through literature. It is important for them to see how the stories of others can relate to their own lives. Many of them need to know they are not alone. They can overcome the trials in their lives like the characters in the books they read.

My Project

My students will be able to read a novel to gain perspective and empathy for those around them. They will also be able to use the headphones to help them while they use the chrome books in class as they learn and watch supplementary videos with their lessons on Canvas.

Many of my students have a lot of struggles in life.

By reading this book, they can learn that even though times will get tough, they can keep pushing forward things will get better and they will succeed.

Many of the lessons we learn while reading this book will help them as they get older. They can look to the characters for how to find hope and put one foot in front of the other to keep moving forward.
