Help me give my students the epic sound of the traditional china gong!

My Project

We want to add this wonderful sound to our percussion section to add a beautiful timbre that most ensembles can't experience. Having the ability to provide these fun sounds and colors enriches the learning and playing experience for my students and for the audiences that get to enjoy these tone colors.

Having access to this will also provide and opportunity to talk and discuss about the different cultures and traditions of the traditional Chinese Opera.

Any time we can provide an opportunity to be culturally responsible in our pedagogy we are opening up our students to a wonderful world of learning.
