Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am the head golf coach at my high school campus where we will be having our inaugural season this spring. We have gathered interest from students who have golfed in the past to those who have never swung a golf club.

In its history, the game of golf was only available to certain members of society, but I hope that with your help, we can help make golf more accessible to those who would benefit most from it.

I have requested golf gloves and towels to help us get into the swing of things!

To provide some context of our athletic program, our athletic program is made up of two San Francisco schools that are co-located. High school students from both schools combine and compete together across different sports.

I am asking for your help the resources requested in this project to help get our team set up for their first season and to also help build a lasting program for years to come.
