My students need whiteboards for practicing skills learned in class; clipboards allow take our learning outside the classroom! Computers keep our learning up to date with use of technology in this technological society we live in!
My 3rd grade class is a unique and extremely special group! I have students from China & Iraq to Nigeria or Texan born. It a wonderful melting pot. Many students are English Language Learners. Brothers Elementary is a beautiful school with even more beautiful diversity! Our area has a huge variety of cultures coming together with a mission to take our kids to the next level! With opening a new school- the budget is limited- which means our students resources are limited. It will take time to build up to what some of the other schools in our area have! Every single one of us would be so grateful for any donation you can give us to help us have a successful year of growth! Thank you:)
My Project
Our budget with opening a brand new school was limited, therefore students need some of the staples in any classroom: whiteboards & clipboards. It allows us to take our learning on the go! We use whiteboards for anything and everything from spelling practice to quick check questions! In addition- Many surrounding districts have 1:1 technology for students and we have 4 class computers for 24 students. Our English language learners will have more access to visual support to enhance their mastery of English.More computers will give all our scholars a chance to create, explore and learn through online platforms that increase student engagement & overall success!
