My Students

Our School will provide excellence in education for all students today and tomorrow. Our campus serves over 1,800 diverse members of the greater Texarkana community.

The vision of our School is to prepare our students to be creative, self-motivated, 21st-century learners who are college and/or career ready and have the skills to compete in a global society.

One way we can better serve our students and prepare them for success in a technology-rich environment is to train our teachers to become Google Certified Educators.

My Project

I am leading a cohort of teachers through the (free) Google Certified Educator Level 1 training; however, there is a $10 exam fee at the end. To help motivate and reward teachers for successfully obtaining Level 1 certification, I am requesting funding to pay for the cost of their certification exams.

I would like to inspire fellow teachers to become Google Certified Educators.

I have personally obtained Level 2 certification and am currently working to become a Google Certified Trainer. This has been an asset to my professional development, and I would like to share it with my colleagues.

A team of three teachers received $500 from Khan Academy LearnStorm challenge, and we would like to use this professional development project to have the greatest impact on our school community.
