Going Digital in Early Childhood

My students need a classroom digital camera in order for us to create portfolios of their work.

My Students

Egocentric preschoolers LOVE viewing pictures of themselves! Help us document our progress with a classroom digital camera.

My classroom consists of special needs preschool students.

The students are diagnosed with a variety of needs including Autism, Developmental Delay, Speech and Language Impairment & Sensory Integration Dysfunction. Although my students have a variety of needs, they inspire me to reflect on my teaching & always implement new ideas and strategies.

My Project

The digital camera will enable the classroom staff to capture the students making progress, meeting individual goals, and create individual digital student portfolios. With a classroom camera, we will be able to document field trips, special class visitors, and student achievement.

This project is important for student achievement & success purposes.

Digital portfolios will be shared at parent-teacher conferences. The digital camera will enable parents to view their child at work.
