My Students

My students are eager and ready to learn in 5th grade! They are such bright, energetic, and thoughtful students. When my students come to school, they know that I am invested in them and their future. I want them to be their best and achieve their best.

Our school pulls students from all kinds of backgrounds, especially military families.

70% of our school comes from a low-income family. However, our students' test scores and abilities are far above state averages! No matter what, my hope is that my students will have the equal opportunities and access to the materials they need to reach their fullest potential.

My Project

These Chromebooks will be useful for teaching Social Studies and Language Arts to my 5th graders. Did you know that Chromebooks provide the ability to have passages and articles read aloud? For many of my students, English is their second language. This is a huge benefit of using our Chromebooks DAILY in the classroom. Not to mention, my kids love to have the information right at their fingertips. Using these computers keeps my students engaged and progressive toward their achievement goals! They feel in charge of their learning and can work at their own pace. So much of our world in technologically driven. Why not give them access to an important tool to education?
