I have new students from Puerto Rico. That have lost so much, their homes, family members, and more. My students need extra support in the classroom. My students come from a variety of different backgrounds and learn in different ways. My students deserve a chance to have the advantages of other students. My students are from a low economic area. More than 75% of my students receive free or reduced-price lunch.
I want my students to have the same advantages that other students have while learning in the classroom.
We are in a Title I school and students are able to check out materials that they need for use at home. Students are able to use reading, math, and other supplies.
My Project
My student are very interested in learning about different types of insect. My student need live visual aids to help support learning in the classroom. Students will be able to observe ants, butterflies, and ladybugs. Students learning will improve because of hands on activities and having visual aids to support them.
Student will be able to observe nature in the classroom.
Students need plastic bugs to create projects to support insects and their positive effects on the environment. Students will pick an insect and create projects based on the insects habitat and how it works and lives day to day.
