My Students

Can you imagine learning about people who have lived hundreds of years ago when you have only lived for ten years yourself. Students need to understand how to learn from history and how it effects their future.

They are fourth grade students who are highly motivated and eager to learn.

They enjoy differentiated instruction and hands-on learning. They are very creative students and are technology literate. Our school is a community magnet and that is supported by no additional federal funding.

My Project

Through a variety of Social Studies materials students will be able to work at their own level of performance and learn about our countries history and how it has shaped the world they live in today. Through the use of these materials they will be able to visualize and create work that will help them relate to the past.

With this donation for these materials it will allow students to have the resources necessary for them to research as they learn about each significant event in history, how it can impact their future and how they can make a difference in the world.
