Help me give my students yoga mats and yoga balls, to give them freedom to learn in the way that best suits them. My students love to run and burn energy, but in small learning groups this isn't helpful.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from low income families, and we are a Title 1 school. Most of my students come to me with limited or not English skills; by the end of the year, they thrive. Despite the challenges my students may face, they exceed any expectation that is set for them. Over the course of the school year, they have become a family and cheer each other on in the classroom. Seeing their faces light up when they see success simply makes my day.
My Project
My students in my small learning groups are wiggle worms so to speak. They need to move and explore their world. By weaving yoga into their learning time, I can calm their mind and help them process their learning.
The impact of movement on a students' brain has a large amount of power.
Students needs to know it is safe to explore their world and their learning time but within boundaries.
The yoga mats and balls will be used in my skills groups to allow students flexible options for seating and they will be taught different yoga movements that they can use during lessons.
