Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are excited to create digital art, fine art and animation within my art courses!
They're an ambitious and hard working group who have taken great care of the classroom computers and art supplies.
These students deserve the necessary tools to create, express themselves and flourish!
Giving them the necessary tools to simulate a professional environment is essential to their learning. This will keep their interest level high, and encourage the highest level of achievement.

My Project
My students are excited to create digital art, fine art and animation within my art courses!
A major unit within my animation course focuses on Stop Motion Animation.
Previously, many students were not successful completing their animations, as their phones that contained the hundreds of photos needed to create the animation were blocked by the school wifi. This prevented them from transferring photos to the computer.
These cameras and memory card readers will assist students in creating and recording stop motion animation... no wifi needed! They simply take pictures, then use the card reader to transfer the images to the desktop computer and animate away!
