My students need several assessories to make better use of the GoPro camera we are using in class. I am asking for 3 different mounting systems and a microphone.
My students we so excited to get their new GoPro camera that was part of a DonorsChoose project. However we didn't realize how helpful having a few different mounting options would be. We are hoping to get several mounting brackets, a floating case, and a microphone.
My students attend a 4th-6th grade public school.
We have a very high poverty rate, but you wouldn't know that from walking our halls. Our students get excited about school and learning. We have a great staff of teachers that are constantly challenging students with new ways of learning. It's very common to see students performing rap songs for academic areas, or developing and performing skits to reinforce something they are learning. Activities like these allow so many students to shine who would not have that opportunity using traditional teaching methods.
My Project
We are already using our new camera, but there is no question that the addition of the mounts and a microphone will increase the quality of the video we are getting.
We are looking forward to using the cameras and mounts on many of our school activities including our high ropes course and our various field trip activities. It is my hope that students will learn how to use these new accessories to make better use of out camera.
I am confident that using the camera mounts will get the students excited about expressing their creativity in new ways.
My students already have many ideas about how to use the new mounts. We are eager to get started!
