My students need the 5 tablets so that they can participate within an environment that is closer to 1:1 with technology and have opportunities to collaborate on Google classroom. The Flocabulary will be use in lessons.

My Students
Our school is a newer school in a low socioeconomic community. The students in many cases have parents that are working to just make ends meet. That means it is here with us that they get all the help they need.
My students are at an age where they need help to see how they can do anything they set their minds to.
We need to include hands-on activities to ensure that the can get a true understanding of what we are teaching.
My Project
The project is extended long term, the students will use the tablets for a variety of use. I have robots and other coding technology that will be used throughout the year and years to come. Additionally, the students will be using the tablet to access Google classroom in order to collaborate on projects with their peers. Flocabulary is going to provide a fun way for the students to learn new content.
Although my students are older they still have limited access to technology and fun ways of learning.
The goal is to continue to grow our students and I will work with them in writing.
Writing is a tested subject that students usually walk into the classroom not wanting to write and actually hating it. My goal is that they leave loving it.
