Glue & Tape: Attach, Decorate and Display Superhero Projects!
Help me give my students glue for collages, tape to hang work on display, tape for 2nd grade to decorate their tin foil super-hero projects, and scissors for left-handed people!
My students are open-minded, intelligent, and kind inquirers. I am a K-5 Art teacher at a diverse International Baccalaureate Elementary school. The school works as a family, and is truly welcoming to everyone despite often receiving new faces (speaking from recent experience).
My artists are eager learners, craving to try new mediums and techniques.
My students realize that art takes effort and practice, and are constantly reflecting to better themselves. They are fearless in my room and, as artists of the 21st century, they deserve to use a variety of tools to engage their imagination and creativity.
My Project
These materials will help multiple grades display their proud artwork in style (while staying durable), and keep their work looking together, fresh, and neat. Painters tape is needed to preserve the beautiful walls of our school - and I'm running out! I need more to continue to show off these amazing student's work.
We have been creating many collages with younger students and we're running out of glue.
Help these students finish their projects by funding more glue sticks to complete their Kandinsky inspired works, and their name collages.
Lastly, 2nd graders are creating super heroes by drawing, painting, and making a 3D model with tin foil. Colorful tape will bring these projects to life by holding the tin foil together with giving a unique and colorful costume.
