My students need science notebook materials including envelopes to hold loose papers, glue sticks, tape and scissors! Having materials in the classroom will ensure the success of all students!
In my classroom, I have a diverse group of students that are excited about learning. They are youth with big dreams and plans for their futures. My students come to class eager to learn how the world around them works and how they can make it better.
My students are 7th graders in a suburb of Kansas City.
Our school serves students from all socioeconomic backgrounds, which makes them well-rounded individuals because they are exposed to a variety of people and backgrounds.
My Project
My students need science notebook materials including envelopes to hold loose papers, glue sticks, tape and scissors! Having materials in the classroom will ensure the success of all students! Working with middle school students, I see first hand the difficulty many have with organization. Using science notebooks, students have a personalized space where they can write and draw while having their labs and notes nearby.
Keeping a science notebook throughout the school year is such an amazing tool that helps students learn organization and also provides them their own personalized "textbook" of sorts.
Having envelopes in the back of their notebook lets them have a safe place IN the notebook to keep loose papers or flashcards. Glue sticks and tape are what holds all their learning together! We go through these materials quick so it would be great to have a stock at the beginning of the year!
