My students are energetic and learn in a variety of ways. They enjoy reading a variety of books and learning about the world around them. We are at an urban school with a variety of abilities and economic levels. The students get excited when they are able to read and learn in different ways.
During the school year, I empower my students to become independent thinkers.
I want them to become responsible learners who see the value in their learning. I teach them to challenge their own thinking within the world around them.
My Project
Our classroom is slowly running out of some basic school supplies. As the year goes on our learning continues, but our school supplies are starting to disappear!
There are some basic school supplies that we need to help us learn in our classroom.
We are in need of glue sticks so that we can continue cutting, sorting, and GLUING the word we are working on each week onto our paper. We need markers to help bring color to our work. Finally we need folders to keep our papers organized.
By this point of the year, we are running low on some school supplies, so the addition of these will help us continue to do what we normally do in our classroom.
