I would like to provide a room transformation for my middle school science students. We would use the glow in the dark materials to decorate the room and to transform large games like tic tac toe, jenga, and connect four into glow in the dark stations. At each station, students will answer questions as a team about the topic we are studying. Each member of the team will get a chance to play each game at the station once they have answered the questions.
Engagement in the classroom is sought out by every educator.
Students will use black light flashlights to guide them through the stations. A bonus activity will be to count how many glow in the dark dinosaurs are hidden in the room as they travel. These resources can be used all year long and the black lights will also come in handy during our chemical reaction unit.
