My Project

Most of the math skills for our sixth grade curriculum are new skills that our learners have never seen before. This can cause frustration and anxiety due to feelings of being overwhelmed with so much new information.

How much fun would learning how to balance equations or fine-tune long division be with glow in the dark markers and black lights?!?

Students need to be engaged and invested in the skills that they are learning. They deserve to have fun because gaining knowledge is amazing. Having the desire to be a lifelong learner begins in these formative years.
