Our school is unique just like our students; there is a mixture of students who attend each day. Our school is a Title I school with students who are bright and talented. These students are seeking to change generations through successful education. These students are seeking to change their future.
My students are dreamers, thinkers, talkers, questioners, world changers, and readers are who consume our room.
Advanced readers to non-readers come in and out of my classroom in search of a good book, a book that can take them to a different world. For some, books help them escape from their own world for a portion of time.
In our classroom, we are a class family, we respect others, and show kindness. In my classroom, everyone is welcome, wanted, and matters. Everyone belongs here.
My Project
Classroom transformations help students get excited about learning. Classroom transformations help students and teachers recharge. My team and I have had a few transformations this school year and we have seen all of our students come alive for learning. Classroom transformations allow students to be excited about the day from the moment they walk into the classroom.
We would like to transform the whole third grade with a glow day classroom transformation for our students.
This will be for three classes and three teachers, our WHOLE third grade team.
The great thing about the blacklight party transformation is that it can happen multiple times a year and each year for many students. I have found that with my other classroom transformations students are ready to complete any task I put in front of them. I am excited to share this new transformation idea with our students!
During the day, students will experience a glow day in all three of their classes. They will get the opportunity to play games and review various things they have already been taught in a fun and exciting way. Students will get to write with highlighters in all three classes and be apart of the experience.
