My students need Crayola dry erase crayons, individual Websters student dictionary/thesaurus, and U.S/World combo map study pads to use during group work in our class.

By the end of the school year, I want my students to be able to work together during group work.
I have the most wonderful 5th grade class They are students with various learning disabilities.
Their disabilities range from FAS, TBI, ADHD, and Memory, however, they are the hardest working students I've ever had. Even when they begin to lose focus they're always trying their best. My students come from low economic households. Our school is a Title I school, where most students receive free school lunch. We do not have the resources to provide all necessary materials. I strive each day to make a difference in my students lives and tell them the world is a better place because they are in it.
My Project
We work in engaging groups for most of the day in our classroom. During these groups, I try to engage the students as much as possible, in order to maximize their learning time. I have requested the dry erase crayons, class thesaurus set, and map pad, so that every student will have the necessary materials in order to be productive during group work. Students will be learn how to improve their writing by using these tools. The crayons will be used on our dry erase boards, to organize their thinking. They can then use the thesaurus to improve the vocabulary in their writing to tier 2 and tier 3 words.
This project will help my students to become more engaged and on-task during group work.
These materials will provide each student with the necessary supplies to be productive during group work in all subject areas.
