My Students
My students live in a rugged and beautiful town. We live right where agricultural lands meet the coastal waters along the Atlantic. Students grow up learning firsthand about wild blueberries and lobsters.
We love to learn about our world through personal and unique experiences.
We work to understand the people, places and things around us. Our small, historic town has links to the Revolutionary War. My students are creative and hungry for knowledge. We have limited resources available in our school, so we have to be creative to maximize every opportunity for each of our amazing students.
My Project
We live in an exciting and dynamic world. My students love learning about national and international current events. In order to be best prepared for their futures, my students need to be informed on current and future issues.
Junior Scholastic Magazine makes current events, historical events, geography, and political issues engaging and accessible to sixth graders.
Engaged students are the future of our world. I want my students to be informed and educated about our world so that they can make the best decisions as adults. I encourage my students to take home their copies of the magazine and share what they are learning with their families. This magazine is a valuable resource to our social studies curriculum.
