My students need six Spectra Virtual Reality Goggles VIP with built in headphones to use as presentation devices for their 3D imaging of various global cultures.
Our school is located on a community college campus, where our students take both high school and college courses. The students in our school match the demographics of our county in a variety of categories. Many of our students will be the first in their families to graduate from college, or to go on for advanced academic degrees.
When students engage in the act of visioning the future, and then making it happen, transformation for a lifetime occurs!
It is so important for our students to see a with new eyes a worldview that calls forth their very best ideas and the belief that they can contribute to our developing world community.
My Project
We are requesting six Spectra Virtual Reality Goggles VIP with built in headphones to use as presentation devices for their 3D imaging of various global cultures. My students will use these materials to design and present various cultures within a virtual reality format. They will share their multimedia presentations in an open-house format with invited guests from our local community and with our global partners.
As a part of a working model of a twenty-second century intercultural arts center, students will showcase cultures using imagery from at least six different cultures they have researched.
Students will learn of various cultures by researching, interviewing, and preparing a working model of a futuristic cultural arts center, right within our classroom. The virtual reality goggles will be one part of a larger presentation format open to other students, parents, and community members.
