This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
I love my students' quest for knowledge. They are so open-minded and love learning new things. These books will help them to discover more of the world around them, generate empathy for others, and enhance their social-emotional well-being.
Books are critical for students to be able to make connections with the world around them.
Students don't always live in diverse areas, and these books will help them to see the world around them and learn more about people who aren't like them. These books are going to help us explore more about ourselves and the world so we can become more global citizens.
