Our students at my school in Santa Clarita are AMAZING!! The students are on a personalized learning program four days a week and attend the resource center once a week. They attend five classes on that day including physical education. We have different students attending our resource center daily Monday thru Friday. We service TK-12 and elementary goes thru 5th. Class sizes max out at 18. We have a very special, safe and family oriented tranquil facility.
My Project
My young athletes are so energetic and so ready to take on new challenges. I am so excited to instill a LOVE of physical activity in the kids and teach them how to find creative ways to be active every day!
Your donation to our project will supply our young champions with much needed fun, entertaining and challenging new equipment.
I am requesting a cardio drum fit kit. It is a non-competitive program that allows everyone to get fit together and that is easy to learn. I am also requesting 1/2 inch thick yoga mats for the kids to use during stretching and mindfulness exercises which will increase balance and focus while developing body awareness and building concentration. I am also requesting a jump launcher, hurdles, ring toss, tunnels, ladders tosses and various directional arrows and stars for creating obstacle courses. They are all bright, fun and colorful. Obstacle coursed will increase their quickness, decision making, agility and sportsmanship. I am also requesting a badminton set for fun, agility, quicken reflexes and to increase our social sport opportunities.
