My students are creative, imaginative learners, who thrive in the art studio.
The students that come to the art room are a highly diverse group of learners who come from a variety of socioeconmic, educational and linguistic backgrounds.
Nearly 33% are English Learners and about 55% are low income students. In the art room, this diversity is a great strength because the arts cross all boundaries, languages and abilities, allowing each student to reach their highest potential.
In my classroom we strive to use our imaginations so that we can all flourish and become our best selves.
One thing that is highly motivating to art students when they build and create with clay is a fantastic finished product. My students deserve to feel that kind of joy when looking at their finished pottery.
These high quality colorful glazes will help transform these middle school students bisqueware from good to amazing.
The colors available are rich, saturated and easy to use. I know my students will love them.
All students deserve a chance to use their creativity in this way. Hands on learning is the best, and working with clay is simply a wonderful way to make art.
