My students need supplies for an art project we are doing as a class.
This project expired on September 14, 2018.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
My students are an amazing group of kids who are chomping at the bit to learn all they can in 4th grade. They are so excited to be here. Our school, comprised of K-5 students, is focusing this year on having a growth mindset.
My kids have already taken this idea to heart.
They are hard workers and dedicated learners. My students already understand that mistakes and failures are parts of learning and help us grow; so they are not afraid to try in my class! They welcome the challenges I give them because they understand that hard things help their brains grow and become smarter!
This project requires a glass tea light vase for each student. Each student in my class will mod podge the outside of the vase and then cover the vase with strips of colored tissue paper. The kids will use their knowledge of complimentary colors to choose complimentary colors of tissue paper to put on their vase. After letting the mod podged tissue paper dry, then they will cut out hearts and other shapes to cover/decorate the vase. Each student will be given a little tea candle to put in the vase.
This project will be given as a parent gift for the students' parents.
