My class consists of 10 amazing students ages 7-11. Each one of my students has a unique personality. My students have different exceptionalities consisting of Cerebral Palsy, Angelman's Syndrome, and Autism. They all have one thing in common and that is that they all love to learn.
Active feet, big hearts, curious minds, and little hands, describe my class perfectly.
My students really love technology, dancing to music, and playing. They learn best with hands-on activities. It is very important to me to make my students school experience fun and exciting so that they will have a love for learning and a positive interaction with school.
Toys are used to improve fine motor skills, play, communication, and social skills. We need the Deluxe Pet Care Play Set to teach my students about veterinary care and role play. The LeapFrog Musical Rainbow Tea Set will help my students practice motor skills, learning colors, counting, matching, and social skills. The LeapFrog Shapes and Sharing Picnic Basket will help my students learn about different shapes, colors, and music. The Fisher-Price Little People Caring For Animals Farm Play Set will teach my students different songs, animal sounds, and phrases.
Toys are a very important tool for learning in my Special Education classroom.
The Fisher-Price Disney Junior Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Zip, Slide, and Zoom Clubhouse will let my students imagine they are in Mickey's Clubhouse along with using fine motor skills. The Melissa and Doug Disney Mickey Mouse Hide and Seek Wooden Magnetic Puzzle Game will help with fine motor skills and learning colors. The Batatt Lights and Sounds School Bus will teach my students about transportation to and from school and working on fine motor skills. I use toys to help improve fine motor skills, social skills, gross motor skills, and communication skills. These toys will definitely be a big help to my students learning this year and the years to come.
