My Students

I have a very wide range of students in my classroom who learn in very different ways. I would love to have resources that will help meet these individual needs. My goal is for all of my students to be as successful as they possibly can. This project will help me to reach that goal!

My classroom is filled with 21 energetic 1st graders who love being in school.

The majority of my students come from low income homes, where basic needs are not being met. My job as their teacher is to not only help them learn, but also to provide them with the love and support they need to be successful in life. We are a family.

My Project

My students work in stations throughout the day in Math and Reading. These touch screen Chromebooks will help to differentiate the instruction they are receiving, by allowing each student to work at their instructional level. It is difficult to push students when they are working independently, and I believe technology helps us to do that. Right now, I have only one computer in my classroom, and it is the one that I need to primarily use.

It will help my students be engaged in learning while pushing them to use higher level thinking.

Each students can work at pushing themselves to reach a higher goal. Technology is our future and its important for students to familiarize themselves with the programs they will be using.
