The students in our school are eager to grow and learn. One of their favorite subjects is the visual arts. They learn about our world and ourselves through the art they create.
This is a very diverse school, with students coming from a variety of backgrounds.
Sixty-eight percent of students qualify for free or reduced lunch. Art is one of the most popular subjects in our class, unfortunately we have very limited supplies. These children are extremely hard working and enthusiastic and deserve the opportunity to experience the world of art.
My Project
Markers, paper, paints, and pens, may seem like basic supplies, but they are supplies we are often lacking. By empowering students though art, I hope to help them explore the wider world. Our study of history and world cultures will be enhanced as students get to practice visual art styles from around the world.
With your help, this funded project will allow me the ability to provide my art students with quality art materials.
I am so excited to introduce my students to new art concepts and ideas. I love to see their little faces light up when they accomplish new things! With your help, my art classes can create masterpieces as they explore world cultures! These art supplies will make all of our projects this year possible!
