My kindergarten kiddos are eager to learn! They work together as a team to help each other grow on their educational journey. There is never a dull moment in our classroom, as the kids are continuously encouraging one another to do his or her best! The thing I love most about my class is seeing their eyes light up when reaching a personal (or classroom) goal. I have learned that when working to their full potential, there isn’t anything these kids can’t do.
My Project
My students are currently working in a flexible seating classroom. They work well together and take care of each other. I have many students in my class with special learning needs. These students tend to use the favorite seating choices the most. My other students are so kind to let their friends choose the seats that work best for each other. I want to add more of what my kids love to our seating options. The kids mostly want to sit in stadium chairs, at the low table. This project will fund two more chairs. Many students also flock towards my wobble stool. The one I have now is too tall for some of my smaller students. The project will fund one more, smaller option. Finally, our flexible seating journey has taught my students to use community supplies. Unfortunately, we are lacking the proper storage options for this. These bins and caddies will help students to keep our supplies organized and in easy reach!
