My Students

I teach technology education to all students in our suburban elementary school. Like most children, my students love to learn about computers and technology; they find the subject very engaging and are motivated to succeed. While our middle class, suburban students are very used to tablets and phones at home, they still need to learn desktop computer skills and programs that will help them achieve throughout their lives. My students are eager to learn more about technology and computer science. I hope to fund resources that will help our students confidently advance into their futures.

My Project

My students are no strangers to technology. Many of them have their own cell phone, iPad, or some other device. I want to give them more than old desktop computers.

They deserve new technology and STEM lessons that will make them think and prepare them for the future!

The snap circuits will get my students moving and thinking to create real life examples of everyday circuits. The 3D pens will give them knowledge into 3D printing and all the benefits this new technology could have on our society. They also need a comfy rug to sit on while exploring and becoming future scientists.
