Giving Love to Our Furry Friends

Help me give my students pet supplies to start our Valentine's Community Service Project helping a local animal shelter!

My Project

Showing love and kindness to others are important character traits of a good citizen. I would like to help show my students how helping others is a good way to show you care about those around you.

I would like to give my students this hands-on opportunity to get involved in a community service project, and show them the positive impact that they can have on their community!

Our school is in a small town with an abundance of stray animals. For Valentine's Day, I would like to get my students involved in a community service project that will allow them to give back to their community in a selfless and meaningful way! This project will initiate a community service project that helps our local animal shelter and will instill compassion and selflessness in my students. We will be hosting a pet supply drive before Valentine's Day and Random Acts of Kindness Day. My students will write letters and work to collect supplies to donate to our local animal rescue with no expectation of anything in return except the joy of knowing we showed love and kindness to those in need. This project will help jumpstart our donations to gift to the shelter. Together, we will build a community of young compassionate citizens who are dedicated to helping our (furry) friends in need!
