Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are home and not getting to enjoy the last few weeks of their middle school career before starting high school in the fall. They will not be able to do any of the fun “moving up” activities we had planned.

My Project

With having this machine and materials I will be able to make personalized gifts for my students before the school year ends. With it being their last year before heading to high school we aren't able to do all the fun end of the year activities that we would be doing if COVID-19 didn't prohibit it. The goal and outcome of the project is to keep students engaged with school and learning by them seeing I’m on their side and truly care about them and their education during this stressful time.

Any amount of joy that I can bring my students before the school year ends to let them know how much they are cared for and thought of means the world to me.

I hope to bring a smile to their faces with small gifts I can make.
