Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The fourth grade has created SEM groups. Each group is designated a role in giving back to our community. Our group goal is to be able to make someone else smile. These fourth graders are driven in being able to collect enough games an cards to donate to the hospital.
Students are driven for success.
They desire to make a difference in someone else life. Their desire is to give kindness. Students have created holiday cards, coloring books, and made pen pal letters for the children at Hassenfield Children’s Hospital.
My Project
The hospital is in need of new games for the children. There are approximately 25-50 kids. Hassenfield Children's Hospital is located in NYC. Together we want to be able to gather enough funds or games to donate to the hospital or be able to buy on our own for the children. We will personally deliver the donations on a class trip at the end of February.
We Need Your Help!
Help us in gathering new decks of playing cards and board games to be donated to the children at Hassenfield Children’s Hospital. Let’s make a difference and work together in putting a smile on their faces. All it takes is one of us to make a difference. Thank you.
