My 3rd grade class is from central Indiana. They are a beautiful mix of cultures from all over the world. Each child has diverse learning goals so it important for me to expose each student to a safe classroom environment not only where he/she can come to share his/her ideas but also learn in various ways.
My students are active children who are interested in helping others around the world.
This will play a positive impact on their classroom experience. I want to provide my students with the best educational year possible.
My Project
I have students in my class from all over the world. A big goal of mine as a teacher is to get my students moving as much as possible. My students need exercise to help insure they are maximizing their learning.
In addition to insuring the students get plenty of exercise, a big goal of my school is to spread kindness.
What a better opportunity than this one. The UNICEF Power Bands will allow and encourage my students to take as many steps possible while donating to communities all over the world. While earning points students unlock unlock one packet of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF). UNICEF will deliver this food to severely malnourished children. This mission meets so many important criteria of my school.
