My Project

Give my students the choice and agency to read books that represent them. I work in an extremely diverse school with over 55 languages represented. My students come from all over the world. They have a diverse set of interests, backgrounds, and hobbies.

They are looking for more books that represent their hobbies and cultural backgrounds.

They have compiled a list of books based on their interests to add to our take home book cart. They have total agency about what books they choose to read. These books will add to their growing interest and desire to read independently.
