My Students

My students from Henderson, NV are fourth graders with an appetite for learning. My district will be opening fully in person for the 2021-22 school year. This is a big change after a year of learning virtually. We are in the process of becoming a STEM school. This is an exciting time for my students as we delve into project-based learning.

My Project

We are so happy to be back to in person learning, but it is so difficult to hear each other while we are wearing masks. I often have to ask students to repeat what they said, due to being muffled by the mask they are wearing.

Can you hear me now?

We would love to have voice amplifiers so we can all be heard. Not only will the students be able to more clearly hear me, but I will be able to hear them! Students get so frustrated when you ask them to repeat what they have said.

Masks, though vital, are making it difficult to hear and give instruction in the classroom. Help us to stay both safe and heard!
