Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are special in so many ways! They are caring, kind and very giving. Although most of our students come from a low socio economic background, they are generous and very helpful even though they don't have much to give.
We are wanting to keep families as safe as possible by providing each student in need with a booster seat.
I interact with the families in the morning before school getting the students out of their cars and I was amazed with the number of students not in a booster seat at all.
My Project
Help us give our students a BOOST! We want to give booster seats to keep our students safe in their vehicles. Many of our families do not have the financial stability to afford basic needs or anything extra.
So as a certified child passenger safety technician and I want to keep our families and students safe by providing them the education and the proper booster seat to keep them safe!
As a school social worker, I have had a goal to get families in need a booster seat and your generosity would help me achieve this goal. I appreciate you taking the time to consider this project for your donation!
