Give the Smartest Aritst a Tie-Dye Party!

Help me give my students a tie-dye party with tie-dye kits, ziploc bags, and markers! Every year each grade competes to see who is the smartest artist! The grade that earns the most points gets a party!

My Students

I love that I get to see every student in one week! We make art in all mediums that are every shape and size.

My students are hard workers who truly love coming to my room.

Being able to allow my students to express themselves is very important to me. Not only are we working on art skills but we work on sharing, problem-solving, persistence, and originality.

Every year I strive to expose my students to new art skills and techniques. I think this makes the art room fun and exciting.

My Project

At the end of each art class, my students line up and play Smartest Artist! While we wait for their teacher to come to pick them up, I quiz the students about what we learned in class. This helps reinforce the lesson students just learned while making it fun! Each question they answer correctly earns them one point. Each grade competes against each other throughout the entire year. At the end of the school year before we go to summer break I reward the grade who has earned the most points with a party! This year I am rewarding my students with a tie-dye party!

The competition is still going and the kids are working so hard As a grade to be “The Smartest Artist!” By donating you’ll be allowing me to purchase supplies such as tie-dye kits, Ziploc bags, and markers to‚Äč tie-dye t-shirts with an entire grade.
