My first graders enjoy having 30 minutes a week using iPads to enhance learning during small group time. We only have three iPads that work and we need one more to complete a set of four.
I teach 20 wonderfully diverse students in an urban setting.
Our children celebrate their ethnic, economic and family diversity. We practice a peaceful approach to learning together. We are also an inclusive school which means that every class has students with special needs. We are lovely community of learners.
My Project
We are asking for one iPad 2 with a 2 year protection plan. We also need four blue durable protective covers along with a charger port that holds a total of four cords. We already have three iPads which students use during centers. The children use many different types of educational apps that enhance their learning of language arts and math. We just need one more to complete a set of four.
