Give 1st Graders Their Own Mailboxes for Their Work!

Help me give my students a classroom mailbox as a way to organize their work and send home their papers.

My Students

My students are appreciative of the little things which make me want to do more for them. They bring light and joy into my life every day in the classroom.

I love that my students teach me as much as I teach them.

They are eager to learn and are fascinated by the world around them. The thing they love most is learning about the world and what is in it. Anything nonfiction is their favorite! They bring so much fun to everyday topics that adults do not think about.

My Project

All of my students acquire a lot of papers throughout the school year. Having a classroom mailbox to organize their papers would make a great way to keep them organized and give them their own space for work!

Each student would get his or her own slot in the mailbox, giving them their own personal place to put papers and work to take home.

I am also hoping that this increases parent communication since I will easily be able to put papers in mailboxes that need to be sent home to guardians. This would give students the responsibility of checking mailboxes for papers.
