My Students

I teach at an amazing school full of diversity. We have over 700 students, over 100 are English as a Second Language students, over 100 are Advance Program students, along with a robust regular education program and special needs program. We call ourselves "The Greatest School on Earth," and we truly are! This school year, I will be teaching a brand-new class for our school. It will be a Digital Literacy Lab which will be strictly project-based learning. I am so excited about this new opportunity! I will get to teach all of our amazing students, either in a group setting, small groups or individually. I am blessed to teach all of our students!

I want all of the students that enter my room to have amazing experiences because they are amazing and exceptional students!

Students that will be in my classroom will be immersed in project-based learning every week and will leave excited about the next week's project!

My Project

I have a great group of girls in my Girls Who Code Club! We meet each week and they are eager to continue their coding adventure. I love getting stopped everyday with the question, "Is today Girls Who Code?" The relationships, confidence and knowledge they will gain will be immeasurable.

These girls KNOW they can change the image of what a programmer looks like...it looks like them!!

I want to get these books, Spotlight on Coding! #4, Girls Who Code, for my girls so they can read about other girls like them that like to code, about the friendships that coding can offer and to give them confidence to continue this once they leave elementary school!

I would appreciate your help making this come true for my Girls Who Code.
