Our students are pretty large and diverse group of students. Our student body comes from every socio-economic setting including the affluent and the homeless. They are full of ideas and are so willing to explore and learn.
My classroom is where students are challenged and encouraged.
Students spend the year learning the foundation of knowledge and skills they will need as they move forward in future. They are excited to explore the world of high school through various types of literature to expand their capacity for critical thinking.
They take pride in their efforts and are willing to challenge their minds for the sake of learning. It is my job to ensure their personal and academic needs are met daily.
My Project
I am excited to offer my female students their most requested titles. So many of my girls love to read books that appeal to their interest. These girls come from various backgrounds, but they all love a happy ending.
I want to offer the girls in my class titles they will relate to to create a greater love for reading.
Allegedly, "Unlikely Allies" and "The Hate U Give" are titles they are all begging for in our classroom library. While we have a nice classroom library, the titles are several years old and not in great shape. I would love to give my girls titles they would appreciate and love.
