This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

As the 2018-2019 school year begins, I am filled with excitement and anticipation for whats to come. This is my first year teaching 5th grade and I am so impressed by my children already. They work so hard and are very determined individuals who don't give up easily.

I work at a title 1 school where 95% of our students are economically disadvantaged and with your help I can provide them the resources they need to be successful and confident.

My Project

Please help me provide my students with a rug where they can sit or lay and work. Fifth grade classrooms are not provided with a rug at my school. Currently my kids lay on the floor using pillows I bought. I want to provide them a comfortable place where they can continue to work on the floor rather than their traditional desks.

We already have the perfect place to put it and I can already see my kid's faces when they walk in and see a new rug for them to enjoy.

Please help me make their wish come true!
